Welcome to DetentionGun. By accessing or using our mobile application or website (detentiongun.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Learnastra LLC ("Learnastra," "we," "us," or "our"), doing business as DetentionGun. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

2. Use of App

DetentionGun is a utility tool designed to help truck drivers generate invoices and track waiting time. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered into the app (including manual edits to time logs, truck numbers, and broker details).

3. Software Subscriptions & Purchases

For DetentionGun:

  • Billing: Invoices may be purchased individually (via Credits) or via a recurring subscription ("Unlimited Pro" or "Heavy Hauler"). All fees are billed in advance.
  • Credits: Consumable credits (e.g., "Single Blast") are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once used to generate an invoice.
  • Cancellations: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Refunds are handled according to the policy of the platform (Apple App Store/Google Play Store) where the purchase was made.

4. No Legal Guarantee

While DetentionGun provides GPS data, photo evidence, and generated invoices to support your claim for detention pay, we do not guarantee that a broker or shipper will pay the invoice. The collection of funds is a matter between you and the broker. DetentionGun acts as a document generation utility, not a debt collection agency.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (including the PDF generation logic, logo, and design) are owned by Learnastra LLC and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learnastra LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to unpaid detention claims, lost profits, or data loss.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
